After Your Application

Once you complete your application. Alejandro will need to review your documents to validate your income and assets. You may proactively start gathering these documents and upload the documents in the mortgage portal or send them by email - Alejandro@SkyMortgage.org

By the time Alejandro pulls your application for review, he should have your income and asset documents ready to review and provide you with a Pre-Qualification review.

Income Documents Needed

If you get paid by:

W2/Salary: Please gather your most recent month of paystubs that have a clear explanation of your year-to-date earnings. This allows me to accurately structure your income for loan eligibility.
+ Bonus/OverTime/Commission: If you have been at your current employer for 2+ years & receive any overtime/bonus/commission or any other pay aside from your base pay in the past two years and you know the overtime/bonus/commission is ongoing, please provide the last year-to-date paystub for 2021 and 2022 paid in December. For example, the last paystub is paid in December and will disclose your full additional earnings for that year. This can help for more purchasing power or approval.
1099/Self-Employed: Please provide your two most recent tax returns that reflect your self-employment income. Please ensure that the tax returns are completed and all pages are together. This can be uploaded as a PDF.
Retirement/Pension Income: Please provide the most recent award letter from your Pension or Retirement source indicating the amount you are expected to receive monthly or annually.
Social Security, VA, or Disability Income: Please provide the most recent award letter from your Social Security, VA, or Disability Income indicating the amount you are expected to receive monthly or annually.

Assets

This basically verifies you have the down payment/closing cost to close on your purchase transaction. Please ensure the bank statement includes all pages. The easiest way is to sign in to your banking portal and download the statement in PDF format and upload it to the mortgage portal or send it to Alejandro@SkyMortgage.org

If you do not have the full closing cost, please provide what you do have and let Alejandro know so that he may look into other Down Payment Assistance programs (DPA) for you.
